How it works
A judged award, not a public vote
There is no voting mechanism in the TransUnion Rising Star Awards selection process. Entrants are assessed by a Master Judge and a panel of more than 70 judges, on a questionnaire and a video interview. This page exists to put the public record in one place — not to ask for anything.

Entry
Candidates aged 28–40 self-nominate or are nominated by a peer or manager, and complete a questionnaire.

Semi-finalist
A Master Judge reviews every entry and selects the top 10 per category. Semi-finalists complete a short video interview answering set leadership-focused questions.

Finalist
A judging panel of more than 70 people reviews the video interviews and questionnaires, and selects 5 finalists per category.

Gala
All 5 finalists attend the Rising Gala Dinner, where the winner in each category is announced.
